It will also hold the Olympic flame.
The Tower possesses an amphitheater, an auditorium, a cafeteria and boutiques. Elevators lead to various observatories.
It also has a retractable platform for the practice of bungee jumping.
At the summit is an observation point to appreciate the scenery of the land and ocean, as well as thewater fall.
Solar City Tower will be the point of reference for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .

Rio needs to concentrate on completing the football stadiums ready for the world cup in 2014, recently a FIFA official was banned from visiting Brazil because he said the Brazilians need a kick up the arse to get things moving, they also have problems with corruption amongst contractors. Believe me who needs fancy stadiums in Rio when you can go to the beach!
ReplyDeleteHaving chatted with some Brazillians, apparently that is the natural way of things in Brazil. The contractors deliberately go slow and then make outrageous demands later on to complete the work on time. The Government always pays up - there are about 12 families that own, govern and control the whole country so it is not going ot change in a hurry.
